Bonpace is a personal coach for goals you actually want to finish. It breaks a goal into concrete steps, picks one for each day based on your plan, calendar and energy – and when the day doesn't go well, it offers a smaller dose instead of reproach.
Free, no ads, no account required. Sync between devices is optional and encrypted.

The app asks for no more than a few seconds a day. Everything else – choosing the step, scheduling, evaluating – it does on its own; you only confirm.
Low, normal or full of energy. Based on the answer the app sets today's dose: the minimum, the standard, or a bit more.
One step, chosen from your plan and a free slot in your calendar. A timer, an optional quiet backdrop, and when you get stuck, a way forward matched to the specific obstacle.
Done, partly or nothing – one tap, by voice or from the widget. Optionally how it felt (easier, the same, harder) and a photo of the day.
The week's summary ends with a decision: keep the plan, shrink it or move the time. A new version of the plan is created; the history stays.
A concrete next step instead of a big goal, an "if – then" plan, a return after a lapse without punishment, and someone who knows you are working on it. No streaks, points or badges – after the first missed day those tend to do more harm than good.
From your active goals the app picks one step: the pinned goal, today's opportunity, an approaching deadline, then priority. The rest can wait.
Every goal has two doses. On a weak day the minimum is enough – five minutes count as a completed day and the week goes on.
After a week without a record the app doesn't show an empty chart. It shows the message you recorded for a harder day and one small step for today.
A routine, a project and a task behave differently in the app – different scheduling, different evaluation, a different way of finishing.
A goal with no end date, where regularity matters more than any single performance.

A goal with a deliverable and a deadline that you can't just "run off" – it has to be broken down.

A one-off thing people put off for years because nobody sees it.

Every integration is off until you turn it on, and it stores only derived values.
Free slots from the calendars you choose, scheduling a step with one tap; moving or deleting the event in the calendar is carried back.
Say the outcome – "20 minutes today, it was hard" – and the app turns it into a record you check before saving.
The evening before a risky day it asks whether the minimum is enough tomorrow or the step should be moved. The risk is estimated from your history, calendar and energy.
Goal breakdown, help with an obstacle, voice transcription. Uses your own API key and a local memory of what has helped you. It suggests, it never acts.
A quiet scene under the timer – a library, a workshop, a morning street or your own video – and the sound of rain or a café. The preference is remembered per goal.
The goal photo sharpens with progress and loses its colour while paused. Your own from the gallery, or a freely licensed one from Openverse.
Between devices via your Google account. The content is encrypted with a key protected by a 12-word phrase; the server only keeps bytes.

A shared commitment is one of the most effective ways to see a goal through. Bonpace offers it without a social network: no feed, no leaderboards and no access to the content of your goals.

The app works without an account and without a connection. If you turn on sync, the content is encrypted before sending with a key created on your device; the server holds only bytes, their size and time.
Data on the server is encrypted (XChaCha20-Poly1305); we keep the key separately and release it only to your signed-in account. On a new phone, just sign in.
From the calendar only "90 minutes free" and the title of an overlapping event remain. Raw data is not stored, and calendar data never leaves the device.
The only things the app sends outside of your own decisions are anonymous crash reports and usage statistics without content. No advertising or marketing profile.
Encryption protects the whole archive. Only what you turn on leaves it, and you always see what:
Details are in the privacy policy.
A streak breaks with a single missed day, and most people stop after that. Bonpace counts the days done in a week, not an unbroken series, and after a lapse offers a concrete return instead of a reset. Besides routines it also supports projects with steps and completion criteria.
No. The whole app works locally. An account (Google, on iPhone also Apple) is needed only for sync between devices, the partner feature and the built-in AI; even then the content of your goals is stored encrypted on the server.
The AI proposes the goal breakdown, helps with an obstacle and transcribes a voice record. It uses your own API key (for example Gemini), so the data goes directly to the provider you chose, and only when you ask. Before the first use you see exactly what is sent. Without a key the app works without AI.
The goal name you give them (it can differ from the real one), the days done in the current week, whether you're done today and since when the goal has been running. Never notes, feelings, the program, photos or your calendar.
The calendar is optional and can be turned off at any time. It provides free slots so the next step fits your real day. The app stores only derived values, not raw data, and they never leave the device.
The app is free and has no ads. A paid version with an AI coach that needs no key of your own and with sync is being prepared; the core stays free.
